Case Study

This garden was left by the original builders with severe banks and drops and a very small sunken deck area. There was limited level ground and limited safe access to the garden. Martin Royer of Martin Royer Garden Design was commissioned by the client and produced the design to give contemporary entertaining areas flowing through to the more woodland natural areas. The site was not without its difficulties as the site had several protection orders on its trees and full planning permissions were required for some areas. The garden utilizes Indian sandstone, green oak, hardwood decking, rendered blockwork, bound gravel pathways, bespoke in-situ GRP pond, and turf.
